TEST EVERYTHING ON THIS PAGE. if i am wrong, let me know, i'll erase the whole thing.

"Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set." Proverbs 22:28 "...ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls..." Jeremiah 6:16

hey, i have to add more info that just came across to me so i am deciding i will reformat this page. it'll be ready soon. i wrote this message on 11/11/02 just so ya know. yay.

this page is for the Christian only. if you are not saved, you don't really need to read this page.

note: read the guestbook about the debate. its rather interesting. i said on the top to TEST EVERYTHING on this page.
example 1 from guestbook: "Did u know the history behind the real reason the KJV was written, bcuz some King, wanted to make the bible in his language."
the fact is that there was such termoil in england because of the protestants and the catholics that when king james I became king of england, he wanted to resolve the issue. he had it written by scolars who knew the word of God, and who knew the original languages. check out www.jesus-is-lord.com for more info on that.
example 2: "The KJV Bible has tons of words that don't mean the same thing today as they did back than. So whats the point of reading a Bible on which u can't even get the right point across, bcuz the words have a totally different meaning."
it may be true that some of the words are harder to understand, but an english dictionary would clear up any hinderances. but here's an example of a hard word. Jesus said, "suffer the children to come unto me." someone would say "but suffer means to cause pain". thats true, but it also means to allow or let. if it's meaning had changed, why didn't they call "women's SUFFERAGE" "women's allowage" or "woman's lettage"??

okay back to the introduction.

this is a topic that causes a lot of confusion as well as fighting in the body of Christ. therefore, this will not be a page of debate (but of course you can e-mail me any questions/comments), only one presenting SOLID EVIDENCE (most of it is references to scripture, some on manuscripts, etc etc) as to why ALL modern versions of the Bible should be REJECTED and why only ONE Bible should be used. although most Christians will reject this, and probably not even read this page, i know some will read it and come to realize what i realized. i used to read the NIV (new international version...more like NON-INSPIRED VERSION) for most of my life, but two years ago i was led to a website that totally changed everything. now, for the first time, i'm actually READING my Bible and MEMORIZING it. before that i probably would open it only during church, and most of the time i didnt even bring my own with me, i used a pew one.

i also realize that many people in the King James Bible Only group have said a lot of things that aren't very Christian. which is another reason why this page will probably be rejected by some. but i hope not to make any remarks that will cause anger or anything.

*******since it will probably take about a week or two to prepare material for this page, please visit www.1john57.com and check out the chart on that page. it's shocking. have a modern version with you as well as a King James Bible to comepare scripture.********

and remember...TEST EVERYTHING. don't take my word for it or some website's word for it...look in your own Bible! here's test number one: turn to 1 John 5:7, and if you are reading a Bible that says ANYTHING DIFFERENT than what the verse below says, you DON'T have a Holy Bible, you have something more like a holey one. and if some footnote says that it this verse was added later or no "original manuscript" has this verse, DO NOT believe it. the devil would rather you fall for a lie than believe the truth.

1 John 5:7 --
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

for the record, this verse CLEARLY proves that the Godhead is three yet one.

this page will be updated little by little everyday.

it's too hard to understand

i hear a lot of people say it's hard to understand, and i will agree with that, because the real gap of understanding the King James Bible is not father time, it is because the REAL gap is one between God and man.

there is a vast spiritual chasm, one so vast that even Jesus' own disciples didn't understand Him. He didn't speak archaic aramaic when He spoke to his disciples, yet they didn't understand what He meant when He said that He would have to die and be buried and rise again in three days!

God tells us that our inability to understand His Word isn't because of our vocabulary. the Bible says that it is IMPOSSIBLE to understand the Bible unless we follow God's criteria. read this list and look within your own heart, and ask God for His assistance. before i read the King James Bible, i looked to God less. now i can use the King James Bible as a witness to His revealing power, because when i come across a difficult term, i look to God.

THE BIBLE IS A SEALED BOOK.

For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes…and the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for IT IS SEALED. Isaiah 29:10, 11

MAN'S SIN CASTS A SHADOW WHICH DARKENS HIS UNDERSTANDING OF EACH VERSE.

Who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals thereof?…no man was found worthy to open and to read. Revelation 5:2,4
The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did UNDERSTAND, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become FILTHY…Have all the workers of iniquity NO knowledge. Psalm 14:2-4
Why do ye NOT UNDERSTAND my speech?…Ye are of your father the DEVIL. John 8:43-44
[N]one of the WICKED shall UNDERSTAND. Daniel 12:10
A SCORNER seeketh wisdom and findeth it NOT: but
knowledge is easy unto him that UNDERSTANDETH. Proverbs 14:6
[T]he wicked. They know NOT, neither will they UNDERSTAND. Psalm 82:4,5
A BRUTISH man knoweth NOT; neither doth a fool UNDERSTAND this. Psalm 92:6
Evil men understand not judgment. Proverbs 28:5
[T]he people…the Pharisees…they understood not what
things they were which he spake unto them. John 8:2, 3, 10:6
Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise? Psalm 94:8
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind…Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; fully of envy, murder, debate,
deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death… Romans 1:28-32

EVEN MAN'S MIND CANNOT PENETRATE THE DEEP, DARK SHADOW WHICH BLACKENS 'THE BOOK'

[F]or the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. Isaiah 29:14
For it is written, I…will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. I Corinthians 1:19
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. I Corinthians 2:14

THE SHADOW IS SHAPED LIKE THE PROFILE OF A HEART JAGGED WITH SIN.

[W]alk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened…because of the blindness of their heart. Ephesians 4:17,18

this list is incomplete, to be completed on 7/18/02

thee, thou, thine, thy, and ye

i hear a lot of people tell me that all the thy's thee's and ye's etc confuse them, or that they don't understand the meanings of these words (how they passed high school english class, i have no idea.) i don't know why they say these things when plain and simply they all mean "you", but NOT all of them mean the SAME "you". you're probably thinking "wha...???" but i'll explain what that means in a minute.

in reality, the english speaking people stopped using thee thou and ye around the 12th or 13th century. if you don't belive me, read the "Epistle Dedicatory to the KJV". it's usually found in the beginning of most the King James Bibles, but many new ones don't have it anymore. the one i use regularly doesnt have it, but i photo copied it from another one and stuck it in mine. anyway, it doesn't contain a single thee or thy or thou or ye.

SO WHY ARE THEY THERE??

the reason as to why the people who normally didn't say these words chose to put them in there is because the word "you" can actually cause more confusion! you read correctly, because the word "you" is a singular AND plural word. in some passages one can tell if one person or a large group is being addressed. however, in other passages you cannot tell. for example: "Marvel not that I said unto THEE, YE must be born again." (John 3:7) the "thee" Jesus was speaking to was Nicodemus, and the "ye" He spoke about was everybody! Jesus told Nicodemus that all people must be born again to see the Kingdom of God. in most modern versions, you will see that it says "Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.'" (RSV) see where the confusion could take place?

in addition, the Hebrew and Greek languages had singular you's and plural you's. therefore, makes the version with thee's thou's and ye's MORE ACCURATE!!

so if someone says that these word's do not matter, don't believe them! and if people say they don't understand what these words mean, don't buy them tickets to a Shakespearian play.

1962 the Judgement Seat of Christ will be very interesting indeed.
