what is heaven really like? so many people have different views on the subject but the Bible says the truth. what do i have to do you get there? who will be there? what is in heaven??
what is heaven like?
in the book of Revelation in the 4th chapter as well as the 21st chapter, there are key things found about it's description
a throne was set in heaven
and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
thats not even a full description. its a mear glimps into what the glory of heaven is like. it will be a joyous surprise...
but...even if the gates were made of wood with leather hinges...and the streets covered in mud and dirt...and the crystal sea nothing more than a puddle...and if the mansions were to crumble...i would still long to go there...because that's where my beautiful Saviour is...
