you think "i have all of my life to live. i have what i need now. i can choose God later on in my life, right now i want to LIVE. i dont need some dusty old Bible telling me what to do. i dont need some God telling me how to live"
this is foolish thinking. you dont know how long you have got!
the Bible says:
Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Proverbs 27:1
No time left to lose.
my friend got into a car accident a few days ago. he smashed into a tree, breaking his arm and his leg, and totaling his car. he has problems remembering what happened during the crash. it comes back bit by bit. he is only 21. realize something: he could be dead. middle age for him could have been 10 1/2. you say to me, that you have time???? no one is guarenteed ANY amount of time. today could be your last! you could step into the other side of eternity at any moment and you would either be walking through the gates of heaven into the loving arms of Jesus Chirst who loved you so much that He gave you a way out of your paying for your sin and a way out of an eternity seperated from Him...or you could walk into the dark, fiery pit of hell...never to see God, never to see anyone...never to escape from the eternal damnation which you would serve...are you willing to give God up?? God who was manifest in the flesh (I Tim 3:16) took our sins upon Himself and became a sin offering for us! He suffered a death like none other...He was whipped until the flesh hung like ribbons at His feet...He was forced to carry a cross that weighed even more than His own body...then they lay Him on that cross and...you can almost hear the bone parting from His sinew and flesh as each blow of the hammer strikes the long, thick, rusty nails into His wrists. you can hear Him screaming in agony...a scream that sounds like the solitary cry of a lamb...
then they raise the cross up where He hangs suspended between heaven and earth...gasping for air as His lungs fill with fluid from the process that is the crucifixion...
and you have the NERVE...the AUDACITY...to say to God "I DONT NEED YOU!"??!
you are what the Bible calls a FOOL. a fool is one of the lowest forms of human life in the Bible...and you have made yourself one. the Bible says: "The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good."
"there is" is in brackets because it was added to clarify meaning to the english. however, take away the words "there is" and you have "The fool hath said in his heart, no, God." do you see that a fool says "no" to God?? by saying "no" you are a fool and in danger of hell.
accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, and from this day forward, you will be a born again Christian, destined for eternity in Heaven, bypass-ing the white throne judgment of God.

Lord Jesus Christ, i know that i am a sinner and that i diserve to pay for my sin in hell when i die. but i believe that through Your grace, you have provided a way out by sending Yourself as a love offering for me on the cross, and i believe that you conquered death and the grave when you arose three days later. Lord Jesus, come into my life. be my Saviour, my everything. i repent of my sins and i ask You to take a hold of me and use me in every way You see fit to do so. i renounce the devil and any claim he has had on my life. i give it all to you, Lord, in Your Name, i pray, amen.

find a church
now that you have asked Jesus into your heart, live like it. find a church that loves the Lord. become involved with it. live the way God wants you to live. it's the best way you can, because He will be directing your life. read the Bible (the King James Bible) and let it soak into your thoughts. memorize it, read it daily. let it be your guide.
